Executive Meeting minutes read.
President Sissenwine requested of the order of business for the meeting be altered due to the fact of the Chapter President and Treasurer would have to leave the meeting in answer to a summons they each received from the General Court dealing with fraternity matters ...agreed.
New business
Move to classify Joe Van Sickles as an active brother ...passed.
Move to classify Neil Sweet as an active brother ...passed.
Motion. Move that 11 brothers who have paid five dollars this semester, except Robert Cadigan and Pete Mason, be classified as active all others will be classified as inactive ...passed.
Move to suspend Dave Mitchell from Kappa Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega on the grounds that Dave Mitchell damages the spirit of Fellowship of Kappa Omicron chapter. He does not uphold one of the three cardinal purposes of Alpha Phi Omega, that being Fellowship. Furthermore, as a result, Dave Mitchell, has damaged the service program of Alpha Phi Omega as noted by the following example;
By his very attendance, he discourages other brothers from attending service projects at which is present such as Book Exchange. Passed.
Reports
First Vice President Chuck Schultz
ABC Dance - was held on the 15th - enough money was made to cover expenses.
Camp Anderson - was called off last week.
Amherst Fair - tents will have to be set up at May 8. Cleanup will have to be the following Sunday. Help will be needed to run booths. Party will be at 169 following cleanup.
Books for VISTA - mailing tags are in - help will be needed, especially people with cars to help get the books to the post office.
Ushering - "Mad Women of Chaillet" Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday week of April 21. Box Office is now running and brothers are urged to help out.
Second Vice President Jim Tickle
Board Review - Machmer, April 25, 7:00 to 10:30 p.m.
Pledge Final - April 15.
Pledge Project - April 27 Belchertown big brothers are asked to give their little brothers an idea of what reviews of like.
Third Vice President Raymond Walsh
Banquet (Mike Dowell) - 26 brothers signed up to go so far - Dean Noffsinger has accepted his invitation to be the guest speaker. We will have our own bar tender. Guarantees have to be in by April 17.
MIT Conclave- nine are planning to attend, three cars will be going.
